Katelyn (Kate) Carey, MD, MPH
Katelyn (Kate) Carey, MD, MPH was born and raised in London, Ontario. She completed her undergraduate education at McGill University, and developed a passion for medicine while working as a medical device sales consultant. Kate went on to complete her Medical Degree and Masters in Public Health at Boston University School of Medicine in 2017. She moved to Rochester, NY to pursue her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Rochester. Throughout her residency, she was awarded the MFM Award for Excellence in Obstetrics (2020), the Gilford Wilson Award for compassionate care (2020), and the Clay Award (2017) for having outstanding skills as a teacher and being a compassionate physician. She is thrilled to be joining Genesee Valley Ob/Gyn to continue working alongside her residency mentors.
